Celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism

I wanted to highlight a couple important events on the horizon here at Holy Spirit.
This Sunday, 15 October, we will Celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism, NEW LIFE, for our sister-in-faith to be, infant Clara! Come and join us as we gather around the font and the altar and welcome her into the community of followers of Jesus. We will prepare ourselves, and all are welcome, at our regularly scheduled Sunday School session in the parish hall beginning at 9:30AM. There, we will study about Baptism as well as our other Sacraments in the Episcopal Church.
This Sunday, also, I invite you to be part of our Liturgy Planning session to take place after the Sunday Service in the Parlor. During that time I will lead a discussion about Liturgy and how we might join together to enhance our common prayer over the next couple, liturgically significant, months. We will primarily be looking at how we celebrate Advent and Christmas together. I hope you consider joining us and also bring your ideas with you to the gathering.
