Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above,
- James 1:17, NRSV

Dear Holy Spirit family,

Jesus said, “In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places,” John 14:2, NRSV. This promise of abundance and welcome lies at the heart of our stewardship theme: Plenty Good Room.

I am honored to serve as this year’s Stewardship Campaign chairman. My family and I have been immensely enriched and blessed by this community for over 30 years. We have witnessed firsthand how God, through this parish family, has welcomed us and provided an abundance of riches to our family.

In recent weeks, you have heard how we are called to share our resources and nurture our relationships. Now it is time for our response. Stewardship is our faithful reply to God’s generosity. It is gratitude put into action.

Our campaign materials and a pledge/response card will be available at our Oct 11 kick off. I invite you to prayerfully consider your response and return your pledge by November 15th. Every gift matters. Every commitment sustains our worship, our learning, our fellowship, and our outreach to those in need. Giving is a very personal dialogue you have with God and there is no “right” or “wrong” amount to pledge. We truly appreciate your reflection, and trust God will be with you during this period.

This is not only an appeal for funds - it is an invitation to claim your place in God’s household, to make room for others, and to live into God’s abundance. When we respond together, we become the church God is calling us to be: a community with plenty good room for all.

Thank you for your faithful and generous response to this call.

Yours in Christ,

David Robinson,
2027 Annual Giving Chair

Why make a proportional gift?

Recently retired Bishop of Olympia, the Rt. Rev. Greg Rickel, stated that the tithe is only the beginning point. As Christians we give one hundred percent of what we have in gratitude for God who gave us everything there is. We’re all in.

When you make a proportional gift:
· You set aside your first fruits, dedicating a portion of your wealth, works, and wisdom to God. This is a sacred act.
· Your financial gift rises and falls with your income - it is right-sized to your household.

Giving back to God is a life-time journey; setting a percentage allows you to step up your giving over time.
