Gardner Headrick
Director of Facilities
Gardner joined the Holy Spirit staff in January of 2006. He spent over twenty years in retail operations management with Joske’s of Texas and May Company (Foley’s and Lord &Taylor) among others.

Aimee Donnel
Director of Business Operations
Aimee joined the staff at Holy Spirit in May 2014. After growing up in Galveston, TX. She attended Rice University, graduating with a B.A. in Mathematical Economic Analysis.

Suzy Spencer
Director of Family Ministries & School Chaplain
Suzy Spencer joined Holy Spirit in 2016. Her dedication and passion for youth ministries for the last 12 years have allowed her to develop a nurturing relationship with our students and parishioners.

Shelia Williams
Parish Administrative Assistant
Shelia joined the Holy Spirit staff in June of 2014. Prior to joining the Holy Spirit staff, Shelia worked as a registrar and cheerleading coach for Houston Independent School District for five years. During her time at HISD, she made it her personal mission to be a constant source of support for the children she encountered. She was also named one of HISD’s Coach of the Year in 2006, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Shelia grew up in Houston, Texas. She attended Mount Carmel High School in Houston, Lee College in Baytown, Texas and Sam Houston State in Huntsville, Texas. Shelia lives in northwest Houston with her husband of 17 years and their daughters Anissa (21), Sierra (16) and Jayden (13). Shelia and her family enjoy traveling for family and sporting events.

Sophia Hwang
Communications Coordinator
Sophia Hwang joined the staff of Holy Spirit the fall of 2017. She comes to Holy Spirit with over 25 years of experience in graphic design and layout; including a few national awards for her work. Her children attended Holy Spirit Episcopal School. She is active in Scouts BSA and Houston Archery.

Nur Vargas with son Rodrigo
Nursery Supervisor
Nur supervises our nursery and has been part of the Holy Spirit family for over five years. Her full time employment during the week is as a Child Life Specialist at M.D. Anderson Hospital. She hopes to continue growing alongside the Holy Spirit Community and serving the kids and their families in the Nursery.

Marisol Resendez
Nursery Caregiver
Marisol has worked with Holy Spirit in the nursery and the Childhood Enrichment Center for over three years. Her main experience is with toddlers ages 1-2 years old, but she has experience caring for all ages of infants and children. She loves her time at Holy Spirit, especially with the kids.

Francisco Miranda, Juan Cuevas & Nicolas Miranda
Sextons
Francisco has been with Holy Spirit for over 20 years, Juan for over 10 years and Nicolas for one. They are our main caretakers. They maintain our facilities, take care of any issues that arise, set-up for events, and make sure things run smoothly.
