Dear Friends at Holy Spirit,
We need your help with a couple important things:
I’ve been here a couple months and have often opened Realm, the Church Data Base, to find information, addresses, phone numbers and the like. One thing that would be MOST helpful would be a picture… of you! Learning names is rough but hundreds and hundreds is even more difficult. If not for me, for your new Rector. Please log in and upload a picture of yourself, if you would, please. Thanks!
Secondly, just a reminder, we are working on a reasonably accurate budget for next year. The only way we can do that is through using current pledge information. We have been soliciting pledges for several weeks and are yet to receive about half the number we had last year. I pray that people are just lagging behind a bit. Perhaps now, with the time change and the temperature change and Fall in the air, you might think and pray seriously about your pledge for next year. There simply is no way to sustain the current ministries in the coming year without your support. Please consider making a generous pledge this year in support of the many, many ongoing Worship, Education and Outreach ministries here at Holy Spirit.
I continue to enjoy the great privilege of being you priest during this interim time. I look forward to the next months together as we have planned many engaging and formative opportunities for you all during the Thanksgiving, Advent and Christmas Seasons.
