Walk in Love
Walk in Love is the name of our stewardship campaign this year. I am looking forward to Holy Spirit doing amazing things in the future. And that takes time, talent, and treasure. In the spirit of stewardship, the finance committee is providing an update for our current year pledging with a forecast to where we will be financially by the end of this year, 2024.
From the Finance Committee: 2024 Financial Update
1. Pledge income is currently meeting expectations. This is wonderful, thank you! It really helps us meet all our financial commitments. Please continue to support our parish by contributing all remaining pledge payments before the end of the year.
2. Most of our expenses are in line with our budget. We did get surprised with increases in 2 important areas – insurance and utilities (much like most of us experienced at home). We have made some adjustments to ensure these increases are manageable.
3. We project that HSEC will finish 2024 even for the year. We still have two months remaining but expect that we will not need to dip into our financial reserves to balance our accounts.
This is good news of course.
Our 2025 Walk in Love Stewardship Chairs, Felecia and Tony May, would like to give an update as to where we are in the current 2025 Stewardship Pledge Campaign which will end in three weeks on November 24th at our Ingathering. (When we take all the pledges received and give thanks for them.) Here are the statistics as of October 30, 2024:

We are hoping to meet our need goal of $590,000.00 and then praying to reach our stretch goal of $670,000.00. With the stretch goal we would be able to hire clergy and/or staff for in-reach and outreach programming.
Thank you all for your support in 2024, and your continued support for 2025. Together Holy Spirit Episcopal Church will continue to Walk in Love as Christ loved us as an offering and sacrifice for God.
