Altar Guild
The women and men of the Altar Guild at Holy Spirit care for the altar and its furnishings and for all the preparations of the Church for worship. The Altar Guild participates, in some way, at every service including baptisms, weddings, funerals, memorial services, and Sunday worship.
We invite you to learn about our ministry by talking to one of our members after a service (we’re in the Sacristy, behind the altar), or by contacting a member of the Altar Guild.

Daughters of the King meets the second Saturday of each month for prayer, praise, fellowship, and studying God’s word; and is open to all women of Holy Spirit. You are invited to attend one of our Saturday meetings. Visitors are always welcome.

Pentecost Sunday
Pentecost Sunday
Sunday, May 24 @ 10:00 am & 5:00 pm. We celebrate Pentecost as the inauguration of the Church’s mission in the world. Empowered by the gift of the Holy Spirit, we are to go out into our neighborhoods and the wider world. It is also Holy Spirit’s Feast Day. We invite everyone to wear red to celebrate!
Join us in Palmer Parish Hall at 11:15 am for a fried chicken lunch. Please bring a side or salad only. There will be cake to celebrate our graduates!
Graduation Sunday
We honor our High School Seniors who graduate this year during the 10:30 am worship service. Light reception offered after services. If you have a student graduating and would like to be included, please contact Suzy Spencer at sspencer@hsechurch.org or our offices.

Celebrating our Sextons on Trinity Sunday
On this Feast Day, Trinity Sunday, we will celebrate our three sextons! Join us at the 10:00 am worship to say thank you to Francisco, Juan, and Nicholas. Parish Fried Chicken Lunch at 11:15 am in Palmer Parish Hall. Please bring sides!

Intercessory Prayer Group
The Holy Spirit Intercessory Prayer Circle is praying for you! If you would like to add your name to the prayer list, or would like to join us in prayer, please send an email to us or contact the church office. We pray daily, but also meet in the evening on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Baptism
God establishes an indissoluble bond with each person in baptism. God adopts us, making us members of the church and inheritors of the Kingdom of God (BCP, pp. 298, 858).
In baptism we are made sharers in the new life of the Holy Spirit and the forgiveness of sins. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact our office.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
All are welcome to be a part of letting people know our church cares by creating prayer shawls. Bring your current work or just come and learn about this special ministry at Holy Spirit! Knitting experience optional - will teach! If you know someone in need of a prayer shawl, please contact our church offices.
All crafting welcome - feel free to bring the crochet, knitting, needlework etc with you for an hour of companionable fellowship.

A Celebration of the Life of Christine Inkrott
Reception to follow in the Winters Activity Center/School Gym.
One request from Christine herself: please leave the black at home. She wants to see you in bright colors and bold patterns — come dressed the way she lived.
In lieu of flowers, Christine's family asks that you honor her memory with a donation to the Colon Cancer Coalition.
Please join us as we pray for Christine’s family in their time of loss.

Endowment Fund Luncheon

All are welcome to join us for a presentation on charitable giving and estate planning, given by our investment advisor, Hightower Advisors, LLC. Lunch will be provided. Childcare will be available.
