Plant a Seed Altar Flowers Campaign

During the month of April, sign up to dedicate fresh flowers on Sundays from May 2024 through April 2025.

You select the Sundays, make your dedications, and pay for the flowers. Sign up for as many Sundays as you would like. The goal is to have fresh flowers on the altar every Sunday! We need 45 dedications to achieve this goal. Flowers cost $175 per Sunday.

Sign up online or contact our offices directly with your dedication. Contributions are accepted online; or, cash/check may be dropped off in the office with the memo “Flower Campaign”.

Episco-ball Kickball Tournament

Holy Spirit Youth Group - Kickball Tournament

Are You Ready to Rumble? Holy Spirit is hosting an EpiscpBall (Kickball) tournament on May 5th from 2 pm - 5 pm. We have invited all of the Houston Area Episcopal Youth Groups to join us for this event. This is a great way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with your youth groups. Friends are always invited. We will be providing snacks and drinks during the tournament. Friends are welcome! Message Suzy if you can be a part of this fun activity!

Baking for Teacher Appreciation

Join us in Palmer Parish Hall Kitchen to help bake cookies for Teacher Appreciation week with Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack (BCB). Some of the schools supported by BCB do not have a Parent-Teacher Organization to help with goodies in honor of the hardworking teachers. Mother's Day Weekend Brunch

Mother’s Day Weekend Brunch

Palmer Parish Hall

Join us for our first Mother's Day Brunch at Holy Spirit. All women are invited! Whether you are a mother, grandmother or aunt, you are invited.

We will be hosting a brunch so please bring your favorite brunch item to share (Finger sandwiches, Pastries, Salads, Fruit/Veggie tray or Chips and Dips). Drinks will be provided.

We also thought it would be fun if everyone brought their own place setting - the mix of dishes on the tables would be beautiful and create lots of conversation. Clear plates will be provided for food to keep your dishes clean and shiny.

We have lots of ideas of how to grow this event, but for this year we will keep the plans a little simpler. We are excited and looking forward to the event. Please let Suzy know if you have any questions.

Pentecost celebrates the day that the Holy Spirit came upon the community and empowered the church to spread the good news of God’s love. As the church of the Holy Spirit, this is a special day of celebration for us. So, we will be having a picnic with a lot of games and activities after church. Join us as we celebrate with fellowship, food, and activities for all ages.

BBQ Shredded Chicken & Pulled Pork Sliders provided.

Please bring a side dish or a dessert to share!

*(e.g. - beans, rice, chips, dips, fruit/veg platter etc)
