All In Stewardship 2021
Dear Saints of Holy Spirit,
There were two very clear common themes in the conversations quoted throughout this booklet:
1) Holy Spirit is a community where we are All In this together. Whether we are post Harvey, mid pandemic, or experiencing the joys and challenges of our common everyday life, the depth and value of our shared community runs through everything and makes Holy Spirit the wonderful blessing it is.
2) Once you come to experience the heart of Holy Spirit, it is hard to not go All In here. All other competitors for our time, energy, and resources begin to pale in comparison. We believe the reason for this is the underlying message that God is All In on us. God has done all things necessary for us and the Good News of that grace brings us communal and personal peace and joy.
This is an unusual year, and it is more crucial now than ever in recent history that we all support Holy Spirit as fully as we possibly can. The quick changes in how our staff and leadership needs to function and adapt while continuing to grow the impact Holy Spirit has on parishioners and in serving our surrounding community can only be met with your support.
Holy Spirit has risen to the occasion of serving our community during this pandemic. This would not have been possible without your support. Please help us to continue to proclaim the Good News of God’s grace and love, show that Gospel message tangibly through service, create a setting to continue to connect in fellowship, and provide a place of respite for our souls.
Yours in Christ,
The Rev. Joshua T. Condon

Dear Holy Spirit Family,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you during this year’s stewardship campaign. 2020 has been a trying year for all of us, but together we have made fantastic lemonade out of the lemons handed us, thanks be to God! The trials we have experienced and overcome together will make the successes of 2021 and beyond all the more meaningful.
This year, we are asking your family to go All In with us on Holy Spirit Episcopal Church. Going All In means serving God and our church family in a visible, tangible and impactful way. When we combine our respective unique gifts to lift each other up, we aren’t the only ones rejoicing; God rejoices with us. God celebrates our commitment to becoming His hands to do His work in our world.
I would be remiss to not point out that our theme this year has a second meaning. Not only are we going All In on Holy Spirit, but this year’s theme is also a reminder that in these trying times we are All In this together. And Jesus is here with us, too, giving us the strength to do the hard work of serving our neighbors and keeping them safe. This work has continued, even during our involuntary exile, through community programs like Blessings in a Backpack and WHAM, and through Holy Spirit’s creative and extensive efforts for worship, formation, and pastoral care. Sometimes all it takes is a socially-distanced conversation in the driveway or worship on the field to remind us of God’s care and love for us.
So put your cards on the table, push in your chips, and go All In with us this year for Holy Spirit. Your prayerful consideration and contributions will make a huge difference. 2021 promises to be a year of incredible growth and triumph for Holy Spirit, and it makes me so happy that each of you will be a part of that journey with us.
