Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM)

Holy Spirit was one of the founding churches of MAM. Its mission is to assure that families have the means to meet their basic needs. To carry out that mission, we assist families facing financial crisis to avoid homelessness, offer programs to enable long-term financial self-sufficiency, assure children an improved school experience, facilitate client access to other support networks, and enhance MAM’s value to its member congregations and the community. Raise Up Families

Since 1994, RaiseUp Families has made the goal of uninterrupted education in a child’s learning the focus of its mission to strengthen families. We believe that equipped with the right tools, guidance and resources, families are empowered to overcome obstacles and discover their potential for a future that might not otherwise be possible.

Lord of the Streets (LOTS)

Since 1990, Lord of the Streets Episcopal Church has been dedicated to ministry to Houston’s homeless population in downtown and Mid-town Houston. In 1993, Lord of the Streets was established as a special mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.

Holy Spirit typically provides a monthly cook team. While we cannot do this currently, we invite you to make a monetary donation toward their ministry.
