Dear Fellow Holy Spirit members,

As your Senior Warden, let me first express my gratitude and appreciation for how our parish has handled the unexpected transition we found ourselves in earlier this year. We are a flourishing church community undoubtedly because of the commitment of time and financial resources by our parish members, lay leadership, and staff.

As I reflect on the past few months in our parish life, I recall my feelings of unease when I considered how we would function as a church without full-time clergy. What I did not appreciate at the time was that so much of our parish life is driven by people in our church who make important ministries function and fellowship take place. So many have stepped up in such complete support of our community. Our church life is carried on the shoulders of parish members who pledge the money and time required to sustain and grow our spiritual life and ministries that serve each other and our west Houston community.
